Health and Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up involved in the sport of gymnastics, as a competitive gymnast and as a coach. I fell in love with the sport because of how I was constantly challenged to be better and loved seeing what my body was physically capable of. I decided to challenge myself even further when I joined the military at the age of 20. I joined the United States Navy as an EOD technician and put my mental and physical capabilities to the test. The military is where I discovered Crossfit. It became a part of my daily workout routine since the functional fitness was a huge part of what I was required to do for my job. I love the challenge that Crossfit constantly offers and love helping others reach new levels of fitness. Since discovering Crossfit in 2008, I have been able to enjoy it at many different stages of life. From pregnancy, to motherhood, to recovering from shoulder surgery, Crossfit has remained a part of my life, just modified to meet the specific needs of my body during that time. Crossfit can be fun for everyone!!
